INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The company “RODA SA” (hereinafter the “Company”) is engaged in the production and distribution of wheels for strollers in Greece.

“The Company” as the Controller of personal data, in the context of its compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”) and the applicable legislation, provides you, with this form, information about the processing of personal data concerning you and, in particular, the type of your personal data processed, the legality and purposes of the processing, the persons to whom your data may be transmitted, the manner and the time of their storage, as well as with your rights as subjects of the relevant processing.

What is Personal Data?

Personal data is any information concerning a specific natural person, whose identity can be verified, directly or indirectly (e.g. name, identity number, home address, etc.).

What does the processing of your Personal Data consist of?

The processing of your personal data includes the collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, alteration, retrieval, information search, use, transmission, restriction or deletion of your personal data that have been or will be brought to the knowledge of the Company, in the context and for the purposes of its activities.

Principles governing the processing of your data by the Company

“The Company” processes your personal data in a legal, fair and transparent manner, in order to serve the purposes set out herein and clearly defined. Your data processed by the Company is limited to what is strictly necessary to achieve these purposes, is being kept for a specified period of time and is protected by adequate security measures.

“The Company” takes every care to ensure that your data processed by the Company is complete and accurate and updated immediately and promptly in the event of any change or whenever otherwise deemed necessary or appropriate by the Company to comply with its obligations under the applicable legal and regulatory framework and for the optimal provision of its services.

What Personal Data we process about you

The personal data we process about you are the following:

– Personal Data/Identity Data : name/surname, gender, date of birth, occupation, identity card/passport number, VAT number.

-Contact details: home address, email address (email), company email,  home phone , mobile phone, work phone

Consequences of not providing your Data

As the above personal data is absolutely necessary for the fulfilment by our Company of its obligations towards you and to serve the purposes of this document, any failure to provide it means that we will not be able to serve you.

Why we process your Personal Data (Lawfulness/reasons for processing)

“The Company” processes your Personal Data if :

(a) the processing is necessary to service, support and monitor the contractual relationship between us and the services provided by us under it,

(b) the processing is necessary to safeguard and protect the legitimate interests of both the Company and yourself

(c) the processing is necessary to protect your vital interests in the event of your physical or legal incapacity to consent to the processing

(d) the processing is necessary for the fulfillment of the obligations arising from the applicable legislative and regulatory framework of the Company

(e) the processing is necessary in the context of our compliance with decisions of the competent supervisory, administrative, public and judicial/prosecution Authorities and Services,

(f) the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise and/or maintenance of our legal claims and/or the defense of our rights before administrative or judicial authorities or in the context of extrajudicial proceedings,

(g) the processing is based on your prior specific, explicit and written consent to receive printed, telephone or electronic messages in the context of promotional/information activities, as well as for the anonymous recording of tests for statistical or scientific purposes.

In this case, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, and such withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before its withdrawal. The revocation is carried out by means of a written document submitted in writing to the Company’s head office (at the secretariat or by post) or electronically at info@roda.gr and is valid from the date of its submission and henceforth.

How your Personal Data is processed

“The Company” takes every reasonable measure to protect your personal data and safeguard your privacy. We do not disclose, publish or share your data with third parties, except only in the cases listed below.

“The Company” processes personal data concerning you through its partners and through its employees employed by address/department.

The Company’s administrative staff is aware of your personal data solely and exclusively for the purposes of performing our administrative functions, invoicing the services provided by us and serving you.

Both all of the “Company’s” staff, including its managers, and its external partners are bound by clauses of confidentiality, secrecy and privacy of the information they become aware of.

To whom your Personal Data is transferred

In the context of serving the purposes of processing as recorded herein, the “Company” may use third parties in order for them, acting on its behalf, to process your personal data. Such persons (processors), acting in accordance with the Company’s instructions, shall provide sufficient assurances that appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place, such that the processing on their behalf complies with the requirements of the GDPR and ensures that your rights are protected.

The categories of processors with whom we cooperate include mainly natural persons or companies with support functions, such as companies providing technological equipment, software companies, computerisation companies, technical support companies, etc.

In addition, your data is generally transferred to third parties if:

• is necessary to serve the purposes of the processing and provided that the recipients are subject to an obligation of confidentiality,

• is imposed by the current legislative or regulatory framework or by decisions of competent supervisory, administrative, public and judicial/prosecution Authorities and Services,

• is carried out following your prior written, specific and express instruction

• is necessary to safeguard the legal interests of the Company, such as indicatively the collection of our claims through third-party agents (e.g. appointed lawyers) or

Transfer of your Data to third countries/international organisations

The transfer of your personal data to a third country or international organisation can only take place if an adequate level of protection is ensured by the third country or international organisation, based on relevant decisions of the European Commission. Otherwise, the “Company” may transfer your personal data to a third country or international organisation only under the conditions strictly provided for in the GDPR.

Your Rights

As a data subject of your personal data processed by the “Company”, you have the following rights:

α) You have the right to information and access to your data, as well as to receive information such as :

 -your processed data,

– the purposes of the processing,

– the recipients to whom the data have been/will be disclosed,

– the period of retention and storage,

– the source from which the data have been collected.

b) The right to correct inaccurate data and complete incomplete data held, if you believe that we hold any incomplete or inaccurate data about you.

c) The right to delete your data, subject, however, to the obligations and legal rights of the Company to retain them for a minimum specified period of time, pursuant the applicable legal and regulatory framework.

d) The right to restrict the processing of your data, if either you dispute their accuracy, or their processing is unlawful, or the purpose of the processing no longer applies and provided that there is no legitimate reason for their retention.

e) Right of portability, i.e., transfer of your data to another party ,provided that the processing is based on your consent or is necessary for the performance of the contract between us and is carried out by automated means.

f) Right to object to the processing of your data for reasons related to your particular situation, in cases where the data is processed for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the “Company” or in the context of marketing.

You may exercise your rights by completing and submitting a relevant form to the Company either in writing at its headquarters or electronically at info@roda.gr.

In the event of receiving a request to exercise rights and before examining and satisfying it, it is our strict policy – in the context of safeguarding the security and protection of your personal data – to ask for confirmation/verification of your identity details.

How long we keep and store your data

Your personal data are processed, held and stored by the “Company” in a secure environment, solely for the purposes for which they are intended and only for as long as necessary to achieve those purposes, subject to the more specific provisions of applicable law.

In case of data processing for sending updates and promotions, based on your consent, your data will be kept until you inform us otherwise and withdraw your consent.

Security measures

The “Company” has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality and for the lawful maintenance, processing, protection and safe-keeping of your personal data from any unlawful or unlawful processing, accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, as specifically provided for in applicable legislation.

The “Company” uses closed circuit television and security cameras in order to safeguard and protect the security of both individuals and property located in our facilities.

General Personal Data Protection Policy

The “Company” has adopted and applies a General Privacy Policy. The above Policy is subject to unilateral modification by the “Company” , at its sole discretion, and the updated version of the Policy is immediately available at its headquarters.

Submit a Complaint/Complaint about the Processing of your Personal Data

The “Company” processes your personal data in accordance with this notice, the General Data Protection Policy it has adopted, the GDPR and the relevant legislation in force from time to time. If, however, you wish to make any complaint about the processing of your personal data, or if you are dissatisfied with the way we process it, you have the right to lodge a complaint either at the company’s head office (at the secretariat or by post) or at info@roda.gr.
