Our Products
RODA SA is the only producer and the largest distributor of industrial wheels in Greece. In our company you can find a wide range of institutional castors and wheels.
Our aim is to offer quality products and with this value in mind, quality control is carried out at all stages of production for all received raw materials and products. At each stage, from the pressing of the metal products, to the final assembly of the wheel with the base, a sample check is carried out. More specifically, after the production of metal products, their critical dimensions are measured with special gauges, so that they are within the tolerances defined from the beginning. After specific productions, the molds are taken to the machine shop for the required maintenance to ensure seamless future production of the parts with the same characteristics. There is also the possibility to measure the strength of the wheel under a certain load (up to 1.5 TN), the rolling resistance of the wheel, the noise as well as the temperature that develops.
Our production unit is located at VI.PE.TH Sindou (Thessaloniki, Greece), is vertically automated and has a productivity potential of 13,000 wheels per day. The whole production process is controlled by a computerized MRP production program, with which we can have full traceability of the production process at each stage.
Our company also has a quality management system certificate from TUV NORD CERT GmbH, according to the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Institutional Castors & Wheels
Institutional castors are mainly used for trolleys for light applications, mainly addressed to the service sector, such as hospitals, furniture, catering equipment for total load from 150Kg up to 350Kg.
